This conceptual reimagining of Twenty One Pilots’ Breach is rooted in how I naturally experience music: through vivid, cinematic visuals that form the moment a song begins. When I listen, I don’t just hear sound; I see texture, tone, and motion. That sensory response shaped every part of this design.
The project imagines a deluxe vinyl release and lyric booklet, merging analog grit with digital distortion to reflect the emotional landscape of the album, its raw fear, release, and rebirth. The primary record is designed as a black ink–filled vinyl, mirroring the recurring motif of black paint in the band’s imagery. Hidden within the sleeve is a secret 7-inch vinyl featuring “Drag Path,” a bonus track that once existed quietly online. This secret element ties into the band’s tradition of layered storytelling and discovery.
Visually, the design draws from grainy photography, fragmented type, and deep red accents to create a space that feels both isolated and alive, a balance between performance and introspection. Each detail is meant to feel like stepping into the world I see when their music plays: tactile, cold, and hauntingly human.
