Femme Fest is a Charlotte-based music festival that brings together artists, fans, and local organizations to celebrate community through live music while raising support for causes across the Charlotte area.
For this project, I produced a multimedia event recap that combined documentary-style interviews, live event coverage, and narrative-driven editing to highlight the festival's mission and impact. Working on-site, I captured interview footage with festival founder Callie, documented performances and attendee experiences, and gathered supporting b-roll throughout the event.
The final video was designed to go beyond a traditional event recap by focusing on the festival's purpose—creating a safe, welcoming space for music fans while supporting local organizations and fostering community connection. Through a combination of interview audio, live performances, and candid event moments, the piece tells the story of how music can bring people together and create meaningful impact beyond the stage.
