Orientation Counselor Promotional Shoot

The Orientation Counselor (OC) promotional shoot is done once a year when the new team is hired and goes through the class program. These photographs are used for OC recruitment marketing materials for the next hiring cycle, New Student Orientation workbooks, Open House Programs, and for the individual OC's Instagram pages. Under art direction of Sarah Wood (Assistant Director of Creative Services), we created a detailed shot list that included a wide range of portraits and group shots to show the energy that this team has. Sarah, myself, and the creative services intern, Tabitha Adaya, all split up to take photos of small groups of people. The group shots consisted of smaller groups of 3 - 5 people, all the way up to all 27 of the OC's. I was able to flex my creative muscles with the smaller groups, introducing a more gen-z inspired editorial shoot - while sticking with UNC Charlotte brand guidelines and standards.
