Opportunity House is a nonprofit organization serving Cabarrus County by providing essential resources that support the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of individuals experiencing homelessness. They also work in collaboration with community partners to address the root causes of homelessness through practical, community-driven solutions.
I was contacted by the organization’s Marketing Director to design a promotional flyer for their upcoming Block Party event. In creating the flyer, I incorporated Opportunity House’s existing brand colors and visual identity, drawing inspiration from their online presence to maintain brand consistency. The design was completed using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.

I worked closely with the client to develop several iterations of the event flyer, ensuring each version aligned with their existing brand identity and remained cost-effective for print. As the concept evolved, I incorporated lighter color palettes and outdoor imagery to reflect the event’s focus on community and growth. The client also requested that both the OP House and Hellfire Ministry logos be featured prominently, so I explored various layout options to find the most balanced and visually appealing placement.
