Portals - CD Booklet

This project is a designed CD booklet for Melanie Martinez’s album “Portals.” An important aspect of this project was to implement thoughtful typography and her visual imagery into a booklet that didn’t originally come with the CD at the time of purchase. The CD booklet is for people who bought the album to feel like they had ownership of the album. A visually heavy typeface was used for the title of the song so that it stands out among the producer credits and song lyrics. A pastel color palette was selected so that the type would be a place for the eyes to rest and so that it was a pleasing contrast to the visuals. Made using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
